I had the most amazing experience with Dr. Winecoff and her dental assistant Brittany. I had major nerves prior to this appointment but they made the process easy, comfortable, and reassuring. They handled my worries with ease and made me feel confident . Everyone at this office is always so professional and friendly. I have been a patient at Family Dental for over 10 years! and will continue. They truly are the best.

I cannot begin to explain how thankful I am to finally feel like I have a dentist that cares! My dentist in Macon moved back to her hometown in Louisiana after taking care of me for 10 years. This was in 2015. I was devastated. I have been to the dentist soncw (Family Dental Associates) and literally was terrified after switching because these visits are so personal. I have been with Family Dental Associates for about 8 years. About 5 years ago, I didn’t have a great experience with a dentist there and stopped going completely. I recently returned last year and let me tell you, I am so happy I did! The ladies at the front desk have always been awesome, but a new dentist (new to me) started taking care of me. Dr. Leavengood is AMAZING!!! I don’t say this much, but in this case, it is true and well deserved. He listens without judgment, reassures you, always makes sure you are comfortable, and does great work! If you are looking for a dentist that really cares and goes above and beyond for his patients…this is where you need to be! Also, Ally at the front desk is super sweet and Dr. Leavengood’s assistant Heather is awesome too!

I had my regularly scheduled dental cleaning today at Family Dental Associates, and once again, they exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive.

My hygienist, Visa, is truly exceptioers our previous conversations, which makes every visit feel personal and comforting. Nothing against the other hygienists—they’re wonderful—but Visa has been my constant, and I wouldn’t trade her for anything.

I’ll be honest—I’m a total baby when it comes to the dentist 😄—but this office has a special way of putting you completely at ease. Even when I had to have surgery, they made me feel safe, cared for, and comfortable… despite me being the biggest crybaby right up until I was knocked out!

I just wanted to take a moment to toot the horn for Visa and the entire Family Dental Associates team. Thank you for your kindness, patience, and consistently outstanding care. I couldn’t recommend this office more highly!

I have had the absolute best experience at Family Dental. I had terrible anxiety from a previous experience at an another office. The doctors and staff helped calm my fears and the treatments I have had were very thorough and pain free. Love my hygienist also! She is a true gem!

I have a real PHOBIA about dentists. Pure anxiety. I had to have a tooth pulled and Dr. Trent and Brandy were AWESOME. I have been back to have a cleaning and some other dental work done. They always make sure I am comfortable and doing OK. Dr. Trent always explains what is coming up and that allays my fears so much.

The front staff is amazing as well. Very kind and respectful and happy. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you!!

I got a good vibe from this operation from the first time I got a check-up there. The dentist identified a tooth that was slated for removal and gave me the option to save the tooth instead of charging me more for a removal and replacement. Great experience all around.

This was my first time coming to this dental practice and it had been quite a while since seeing a dentist. Dr. Leavengood made me feel so comfortable and as at ease as one can be while having an extraction. He didn't pressure me or try to scare me into getting unnecessary work like the last office I went to. My dad and several other people have recommended me to this practice and I see why. 10 out of 10, will also recommend. The rest of the staff was also very helpful and friendly. Thank you for a pleasant experience!

In a time when customer service and bedside manner are non-existent this office and the entire staff are the exception. I have had numerous bad experiences at other dentist offices and I have anxiety as a result but Dr. Trent and his staff make me feel at ease and like I matter. They are so patient, reassuring and kind. They explain everything that they are doing and why. And most of all they provide service with a smile! This is my family dentist for life!

Update:
I had to have a root canal and even though I trust this office I was terrified because I've never had one and everyone that I know who has had one has a horror story. The experience was amazing. It didn't feel amazing because it's a root canal but it wasn't bad. Dr. Pierce was gentle and as he worked asked if I was okay and if I could feel anything. He answered my questions and explained everything which really helped me. Holly, his assistant, was awesome too she made sure that I stayed calm by talking to me and making sure I was comfortable. She stayed with me the whole time, and made sure I was okay and on top of all that she did her actual job and helped Dr. Pierce. If every dentist was like this people wouldn't hate the dentist! I've seen two different dentist in this office and both were awesome. I highly recommend them!
